Andrea was the first of a few celebrants we talked to, but to be honest we both knew from the very start that she was the one we were going to work with. And we were both so happy that we did.

Right from our first meeting with Andrea, it was clear that she would go out of her way to work with us to produce a ceremony that we would love. She took the time to meet and talk with us, listening totally to our story, what we wanted and even to the kind of language we used in our conversations. She captured who we are so brilliantly right from the first draft!!

And we just loved the ceremony. It was so personalised, and had everything we wanted: our story, the legal bits, the serious (important) bits, the humorous bits and, most importantly, it was us!!!!

Andrea was a brilliant help through the whole process. She answered all our questions and/or concerns (and there were plenty!!), she had lots of suggestions, ideas and examples of readings etc etc, put our minds at ease when we weren’t sure about our vows, and managed to keep us on track and calm(ish) when it came to the rehearsal and the big day itself. It was also so nice to know that she only ever does one wedding per weekend.

Andrea endeavours to do the best she can for her couples, puts her all in to writing a gorgeous ceremony and is such a brilliant celebrant to work with. We have printed our ceremony out nicely to keep and most definitely will be reading it again and again in years to come.

We feel honoured to have had Andrea as our celebrant and very grateful for having met her. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her to other couples.

Her guidance was invaluable and her professionalism, experience and relaxed but precise nature meant we had a fantastic experience both during the planning process and on the day.

The material she provided included vows and readings that we could select from. These are things that if we were to do on our own would not of worked out so well.

We were so lucky to meet Andrea and have her as our celebrant for our wedding. From day one we knew she was a perfect fit for us. She listened to what we were looking for and explained the process clearly, the whole process was seamless. Andrea wrote a beautiful ceremony for us and I still have people commenting on how perfect the ceremony fit us. She captured us both perfectly.

Andrea also did an amazing job of calming me down before the ceremony. I was very anxious to be in front of so many people and she made me feel fully supported.

I had the honour recently of being maid of honour at my good friend’s wedding.
I first met Andrea at the rehearsal where she was very thorough in going through everything we needed understanding of ahead of the big day.
At the rehearsal and on the wedding day, Andrea was very approachable and, I feel, put us all at ease.
Ahead of the ceremony, Andrea was calm and supportive when she popped in to check on the Bride, and even had Rescue Remedy on hand for a guest who was nervous ahead of doing a reading.
The ceremony Andrea put together was lovely and personal, and during delivery she wasn’t phased by the couple’s young children needing to be with their parents on and off.
On such an important occasion, Andrea was very professional, but treated us all in a caring, friendly manner.
It was a truly lovely ceremony on a very special day!

I work in retail and I first met Andrea at work.  I found her one to be one of those people who you just feel comfortable around straight away, and I was delighted to learn she was a marriage celebrant.  I didn’t hesitate to ask her to be a part of my wedding.  Andrea took the time and effort to meet with Mike and I on several occasions during the wedding planning stage,s and she was very quickly able to pick out the special parts of our relationship.  She took the stress out of the day completely and everything went like clockwork.  I can’t recommend Andrea enough for her professionalism, her ability to find those special words when I couldn’t, and her ability to completely personalise our ceremony so perfectly.

We met Andrea Thom at the wedding show earlier this year. We entered her competition to win a Celebrant and we won! Andrea was lovely from the get go, she really took the time to get to know us.
