Ian did a fabulous job as DJ at our outdoor garden wedding under a perfect full moon.  The music was superb, start to finish.  From the summery jazz vibe as people arrived, the easy listening music during mix and mingle to the brilliant dance music that kept everyone on the dance floor.  Many people stayed longer than intended as they just couldn’t leave the great music and moonlight ambience.

From my very first contact with Ian, he was professional and friendly, and absolutely “got” the nature of our wedding (casual garden party style with 150 guests of more mature years).  All the wedding songs were on cue and Ian’s preparation was excellent, liaising with me about what we wanted and understanding each component.  He set up, DJ’d and packed down with discrete professionalism.  He knew just what to play throughout the whole event and it was a very special day.  Ian also provided lighting which made the dance area come to life once darkness fell.

Ours was a somewhat unconventional wedding at a private property and we are still getting comments from guests about the great music … so thank you Ian for doing an excellent job.  I highly recommend Ian for your wedding!

We used Ian for our wedding early February 2017. He was absolutely fantastic! He was very professional, had a great setup and kept our guests dancing all night long! Ian did a fantastic job being our DJ for our wedding at Five Knots. He could not have been more accommodating and in time with what we wanted. He also created a surprise monogram for us on a wall and a video of us with speeches and dancing and also last minute helped us out with the ceremony when our speakers did not work and he was able to use his! We would recommend Ian and thank you for making our day so special

Ian was our MC and DJ for our wedding. He did a great job, from getting all the guests involved by introducing each table and making them feel welcome to the awesome atmosphere on the dancefloor. Everyone had a great time.

Ian was a perfect choice of DJ for our big day. In the lead up to the wedding, Ian met with us and quickly had everything in hand with the entire day planned. Ian played the perfect mix of music for all the guests we had at our wedding… People were on the dance floor from the first dance right until the last.

Our venue had a challenging configuration for a DJ to set up, but it was no problem for Ian. Ian had all the required equipment for the speeches from lapel mics for the MC to portable mics for a few impromptu speakers.

On the day, we were still undecided on an indoor or outdoor wedding, due to the weather, but no problem for Ian, he had all bases covered.

We hired Ian as our MC and DJ.  He did a fantastic job!! 

The music was great,he mixed in the songs we requested with songs to fill the dance floor keeping everyone happy and dancing.

Ian also did a great job running the Pub Quiz we organised as entertainment.  He is very helpful providing lists of popular music to choose from, and ideas for songs. 

Well worth the money!!

We had a great night of dancing thanks to Ian’s professional set up at our wedding. Ian played a mix of our choices and his own selection which ensured the dance-floor was packed all night.The microphone and satellite speaker were very clear and there were no issues on the night. Ian met with us prior to plan out the night and proved to be good value for money too. We would recommend Ian for your wedding or other event.
