As Celebrant, my goal is to create and conduct a Ceremony that You have dreamed of, one that reflects Your unique style and personality.
If you need help to create your dream wedding, I will gladly assist you with choices, ideas and suggestions. I love the challenge of creating the ceremony for You and of sharing your love and happiness on the day.
Since today’s celebrations are multi-national and multi-cultural, I can also offer a ceremony in Portuguese and German among others.
I am thrilled to be able to offer my services to same-sex couples. also.
Although based in Auckland, I will consider traveling to where you may need me.
We were connected to Aurora via another celebrant we had contacted, who was busy. We read Aurora’s email and both instantly felt that this is the woman we wanted to marry us. There were simularities between our lifestyles and we felt she understood what we were hoping for.
We were in the UK (in two different locations) and Aurora was in New Zealand. She made herself so available throughout the planning stages, finding time during her weekend to Skype us both and discuss our ideas for the ceremony, not to mention always responding promptly to many emails that flew back and forth.
To set the scene, we were travelling from the UK to visit friends in Waiuku and had decided with only 2/3 weeks to go, to get married whilst we were there. Aurora offered advice and support for every step of the way. She walked us through the licence application process, visiting the NZ Embassy in London, booking a photographer (a trusted contact of hers), the photographer then connected us to a hair and make up assistant he knew. It all worked so seamlessly.
Aurora spent a great deal of time talking us through the options for the ceremony, offering example vows and readings and many other alternatives. We ended up with a ceremony that felt so personal and so ‘Us’, just what we had hoped for.
On the day itself Aurora arrived in plenty of time, fully prepared and due to the weather was unflappable in coming up with a plan B, We eventually married in the garden because the beach was so windy, but it was perfect and we both felt it was better in the end.
Aurora helped us achieve the wedding that we could only have dreamt of, but managed to make real. She was a true professional throughout. She is more than a celebrant to us and we look forward to getting together when we are next in NZ.
We would not hesistate for a moment to recommend Aurora and her celebrant service - you are in safe and more than capable hands.

When we first started looking for celebrants we looked up a few that had been recommended by friends and family but none of them seemed to be compatible with our preferences, Lucky our photographer runs the Auckland Weddings website which had led us to a few great vendors. Aurora’s profile popped up in the directory and we immediately thought she would be perfect.
After meeting her in person we knew she was the right person for the job. She understood our more alternative style and was great at explaining the ins and outs of how ceremonies look and feel- we were a bit clueless but she was a wealth of knowledge!
We couldn’t have been more thrilled with her as a celebrant, She listened to our ideas and helped us come up with a ceremony that was perfect for our personalities, the location and the style of wedding we had. She was very professional, encouraged my husbands input (which is hindsight is something we are both very grateful for!) and made us feel totally at ease with the whole process.
We would highly recommend Aurora to anyone looking for a celebrant who takes the time to get to know you and understand your needs, and is generally just a lovely person.
Thanks Aurora for making the process and the day that much easier.

This may sound superficial…..She was everything we thought she’d be, when we first saw her photo on her website and proved to be even more, when we met. Michael & I were delighted when Aurora said “Yes” she would be our celebrant. The stars aligned themselves to having her available on our wedding day & we weren’t disappointed.
Getting married for the second time we knew there’d be some challenges along the way…..I mean with blending six children (19-27yrs) why wouldn’t there be?
I remember sitting in Aurora’s lounge whilst explaining our situation & feeling quite vulnerable & teary. Aurora seemed to take it all in with her warm brown eyes, with tissues at hand and understand immediately the complexity of trying to make it all work.
And it did!
We had the most amazing wedding that celebrated both parties & friends became family on our very special day. Aurora helped us celebrate & seal our past, our present & future. Thank you Aurora.

Thanks so much for being our celebrant and making our day that much more special.
Everything went pretty much as planned except the music issue and windstorm haha but we all managed to smile still.
It was a real pleasure dealing with you, you made us feel so relaxed and comfortable so thank you again. xx

We were looking for a celebrant at the last minute as February is obviously the busy wedding season and most celebrants where fully booked. We found Aurora and we’re so glad we did. She was very helpful, especially considering she wasn’t given a lot of time to organise things. We live in Palmerston North and were planning our wedding in Auckland, because we couldn’t meet with Aurora in person, she suggested we Skype which was a great idea. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and offered very helpful advice (offering great advice but really listening to what we wanted to include and what was important to us), she was great in helping us to incorporate some Maori traditions into our ceremony also. She was well presented on the day, professional and really made an effort to make the ceremony special for us. We were really glad we had her there as part of our day and would recommend her to others.

We were married at the Parnell rose gardens in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Aurora was our celebrant and was very lovely to deal with and had a calming manner about her.
She was flexible on where she could meet us to discuss the ceremony and forthcoming with advice for our vows and procedures on the day.
We really loved our wedding day and were pleased we could have Aurora part of it.

Peter & Jeff: Planning a wedding in Auckland when we live in Sydney was never going to be easy. Aurora possesses the perfect balance of humour, experience, skill and flexibility to really help us with our planning. With Auroras help, we got the wedding ceremony we really wanted, while she gently steering us away from some potential mistakes. On the day we really appreciated her support and were able to relax and enjoy our special day with our family and friends. We feel very lucky to have found Aurora and recommend her to you.
