I’ve ordered my beautiful made-to-order birdcage veil/fascinator from this vendor and I can’t recommend them enough.

The shop is full of gorgeous vintage wares - jewellery, lace and fascinators / birdcage veils. I could have looked for hours…

The service was fantastic. I was talked through my options, what would best suit my face, my dress, my hairstyle etc. and I was shown how to wear the birdcage veil. The combs are forward facing which makes total sense (a lot of imported ones from China are back facing which means they’ll just fall out!) and there is a great option for taking the face ‘veil’ off so that you can wear it more informally later in the reception.

Mine is being made to order, using a white version of my silk flowers and some of the lace from my dress so it’s very tailored and individual.

Grace and Lace were recommended to me by a few other past brides. I was in need of some stunning earrings and found it very hard to find anything online or in Christchurch. I was greeted by a lovely man who I later found out was one of the owners and he helped me narrow it down to a few pairs of earrings. When I say narrow it down I really mean it - they have such a stunning selection it was quite a tough decision! I did make one though and they looked so amazing on! I’d love to recommend them as their customer service was admirable and they have such a stunning range of bridal products that had I known prior I would have just purchased my veil and other jewellery there. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
