My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with our wonderful celebrant, Mel Turner! She impressed us right from our first point of contact with her warmth and lovely down to earth manner, and her calm pragmatism when explaining the process of getting married. Throughout all our exchanges she was very efficient in detailing what we needed to do and had a great ability to break things into manageable chunks, which alleviated our potential stress levels immensely. And while doing all of this she provided humour and laughter to our planning, and helped maintain a great sense of excitement for the day. We felt very supported and privileged to have her conduct our wedding ceremony. It felt like we had a friend standing beside us declaring us husband and wife. Thank you Mel!

Melanie was a fantastic celebrant and she suited us perfectly.  Any questions leading up to the day were answered immediately and she was extremely flexible so we had the ceremony and vows we desired.  She provided us with numerous options and information so we did not feel a whole lot of pressure prior to the day. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a relaxed and open celebrant.

Our celebrant selection was based on finding someone young and experienced, non-religious who didn’t wear a big hats! Melanie met these criteria and then so many more.

Melanie was the perfect celebrant for us - she listened to our wish list, offered sage advice and some brilliant suggestions in the planning of the ceremony, and on the day itself spoke with personality, warmth and confidence. Mel was more than willing to adapt her ceremony wording to suit our needs and include some passages of our own. We look back at our collective choice of words and her delivery with fondness.

We appreciate the time she took to Skype with us in Australia, meeting us twice face-to-face beforehand and coming to our wedding rehearsal.

We highly recommend her.

We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant and we had a number of comments from guests on how warm and moving the wedding ceremony was. We really appreciated her relaxed demeanor and professionalism as it made us both feel so comfortable on the day. It didn’t start there though as Melanie walked as through the entire process and she even cameo-ed as our wedding organiser and rushed around with our photographer to make sure the ceremony space looked perfect before i arrived!

I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Amazing!! Mel gave us the ceremony that we had dreamed of. Everyone has told us what a great ceremony we had and how much they enjoyed it. We will never be able to thank Mel enough for our wonderful ceremony.

Mel was our wedding celebrant.  I would not hesitate to recommend her, especially to anyone who was wanting to write their own ceremony.  She had lots of helpful suggestions but was also very flexible and open to our ideas.

Melanie is a wonderful celebrant and generally lovely person. Our ceremony ran like clockwork thanks to her calm and confident presence. We live in London and only met Mel once before the wedding but she was amazing with email contact, and I really felt like I knew her by the big day. She has a repertoire of really amazing ceremonies, with elegant wording- emotive but not too flowery. She looked fab on the day too. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Melanie did a fantastic job as our wedding celebrant.
We had lots of support from her before the day, even a reminder to make sure we had our licence (as BDM were shutting for Christmas) and she was always available to help with questions.
On the day she made us feel as though there were only three of us there (Bride, Groom and Celebrant) and her happy, smiling face calmed our nerves.
We had a lot of comments from guests about how lovely our ceremony was which comes down to what a great job Melanie did.
I would recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant in Auckland.

Melanie was great! She talked us through step by step how the whole thing works, and had lots of great ideas for our ceremony,  helping us to create a specialised ceremony specific to us.  She also helped with music selection.  Melanie was very confident and calm on the day (unlike myself), and really helped to make our day amazing!

Melanie was brilliant not only on our big day but in the weeks leading up to it. Offering her support from the beginning, assisting with our vow formation, order of ceremony, taking us through the rehearsal step by step, right down to having rescue remedy on hand for the groom! She had everything covered and was truly amazing, could not have hoped for a better celebrant.
