About Nikki South Photography

Welcome to Nikki South Photography.

After years of living overseas and traveling, I returned to New Zealand and started up Nikki South Photography. At first it was a part time business, but soon became my full time job. I am very thankful that I get to make my living out of something that I sincerely love to do.

Landscapes are a great passion for me. I am lucky to have photographed landscapes all over the world. But now I have someone even better to photograph, my 2 year old son Cole. Even though he won’t stay still for very long, he is now getting to the age where bribes work! I also have a wonderful partner who unfortunately doesn’t like his picture taken, but takes me to his favourite spots around New Zealand, so I can shoot more landscapes. I feel it is important to never lose site of why I became a photographer. I keep my passion alive by having personal projects always on the go. I also enter the NZIPP iris awards. I have also reach the accreditation of Fellow of the NZIPP.

I also love to work with people and bring out their personalities in the images I produce. I make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable, then we can get great natural images. Together we style your shoot to accommodate you and your needs. Whether it be a wedding, portrait or commercial shoot, you can rest easy knowing you will get what you envisaged, or better!
