Such a lovely venue with beautiful surroundings and views! Couldn’t have hoped for a better ceremony location (even with the crazy wind)!! Everyone at Goldie was so accommodating, happy to work in all the little extras, and last minute changes. Charlotte was awesome – a wealth of knowledge and always available when needed. Wait staff on the day were also lovely – very professional and friendly. Our guests loved the lawn games, and continue to comment on how great the place looked. Everyone had an awesome time – thanks so much!!

The only slight disappointment was the food… unfortunately we weren’t thrilled with everything. Serving sizes were on the small side, courses were a little slow coming out, and two dishes weren’t too good (the market fish main, and the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert). In saying that, loved the canapés, the lamb main, and late night snacks.

I wanted to say a massive thank you for making our wedding so special.  Even with all the last minute changes you really went out of your way to ensure our wedding day was still special and beautiful and in the end it didn’t even matter that it was more wintery then we had anticipated.  We had absolutely the best day ever and this was because you and your team really came through for us.  I can’t say enough good things about you guys, the place looked great, the food was fantastic, (all our guests are still talking about the food) and we were all really impressed with the service. Our wedding was all about having a special day with our friends/family so it meant a lot to us that you looked after people’s needs.
Thank you for working with our vision through out the process of planning the wedding, it made it so easy to organize from overseas and then for understanding what was needed to still achieve that once we had to change to plan B.

Whilst looking at wedding venues on Waiheke Island back in 2009 we came across this venue and fell completely in love. We weren’t disappointed; the venue is simply stunning and it ticked everything on our dream location check list; vineyard, restaurant, private beach, sea views, quality wines ..and the menu we wanted.  They were all extremely accommodating and provided a very relaxed family vibe.  It was also the little touches that stood out for us and their flexibility.  Waiheke is truly a magical place to hold a wedding, the accommodation was also great.
