Alexa was absolutely amazing, she was professional and warm, her calming personality transfered to us on our wedding day putting us at ease and able to truly enjoy the moment. I have no hesitation in recommending the wonderful Alexa, she truly is a gem!

We chanced upon Alexa’s name from browsing online. An emotional connection was established straight away on our first meeting, which cemented our decision to ask her to be our wedding celebrant.

Our decision was based on the fact that Alexa is an experienced and knowledgeable celebrant. On our first meeting she guided us on the vows we will be making, the music we want, the different parts of the ceremony and what should be done, the people we wish to participate, the wedding march, how we are going to stand before our audience/wedding guests, and even where and how best to arrange the seats for the ceremony. She did everything with a personal and motherly touch. Alexa is very professional, always making sure she communicated everything we needed to know and do through an email, she was very punctual both for the rehearsal and ceremony, has excellent communications skill and good sense of humor, very sociable, eloquent, honest and very good people skills. She is simply awesome and we would like to thank her for making our wedding ceremony very special.

Alexa was a fabulous celebrant - in fact “bloody awesome” according to hubby! Fun, relaxed, informative and helpful. If we ever renew our vows she’ll be the one we call. The vows & whole service was short but beautiful and included everything we had discussed as being important to us.

Alexa made a special day even more special.  Her recommended form of service was quite lovely - we didn’t alter one word.  She made all the words of the ceremony come alive for us and the assembled guests.

Im a professional wedding photographer and Alexa was marrying a beautiful couple on October 26, 2013. Alexa was very professional, and we felt like she was a part of a family. She new exactly what to say, how to help and what photographer needs! I’ve been photographing weddings for 8 years now, and she payed attention to my needs as much as to bride and groom’s (which was great for the whole ceremony). She just knows how to make everyone’s stress fly away!

We recently came to NZ in order to marry as a same sex couple. We were staying at a B & B where we were to have our ceremony. The hosts of this B&B recommended Alexa. We found her to be most accomodating to our request for a small and relaxed ceremony. As an older couple we found that she was willing to integrate our own ideas of how we could proceed with this without compromising the legal requirements of obtaining a marriage licence in NZ.
Her advice regarding the getting of the licence was timely and useful.
She was professional at all times, providing a warm environment for our special day.

Alexa was just wonderful, she gave use great suggestions and guidance to ensure our ceremony was just perfect.  The rehersal was very valuable and Alexa made that everyone in our bridal party and others involved in the ceremony knew what to do. We are from Australia and decided that we would get married while on Holidays in New Zealand. We found Alexa through our friends in Auckland. Alexa was so helpful with everything as we needed to organise the ceremony over email because we were not due to land in NZ until 2 days before the wedding.

Alexa did the most beautiful ceremony and we are so happy that she was a part of our very special day. We watched the DVD of the wedding again last night and it had us both in tears again (happy tears!).

This was the second wedding that Alexa has celebrated at my wedding venue. The first was a small intimate wedding of 6 and the latest a larger wedding of 60 guests.
Each time Alexa has made her bridal party and guests feel very welcome at at ease. Both services were very moving and pertinent to the individual couples.

I recently attended a wedding inwhich Alexa was the celebrant. By paying attention to small details, such as where the guests were standing, and by organising everyone so well before the bride arrived, she ensured the ceremony maintained its’ intimacy. The ceremony was beautiful, delivered in a manner that was not only articulate and professional, but also very personal and warm. I’m going to keep her in mind, in case I ever decide to get married one day!
