From the moment my now husband and I took steps into Cassels we instantly fell in love with the beautiful venue.
We held our wedding there on Saturday 25th October 2014 and could not have asked for a more perfect day.
Sue and John who own/run Cassels are the most loveliest couple with making everything such a breeze!
The centre pieces Sue made were to die for, absolutely gorgeous. And the way they set out our wedding favours were just perfect.
Now on to the food, everything was absolutely scrummy! The desserts were delicious.
All of our guests had such a fun day!
Sue even packed up everything at the end of the night for us making it so easy to take home.
We can’t thank you enough for making our day absolutely perfect! We can not fault anything. It was everything we both dreamed of.

Where do I start. Cassels is amazing!!!! From the moment my partner and I saw the venue and meet with sue we knew this was the place for our special day.  Sue was excellently she was so organized.. I am a anxious person and worry a lot and with sue organizing I knew I had nothing to worry about.  Sue responded to all my million emails and questions efficiently and was so helpful.  On the day she did all my music for me so that it was perfect. She fluffed my dress before I walked down and greeted me when I arrived.  I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Everything was perfect!!!! My tables were set up beautifully and the center pieces were lovely. All my guests raved about how lovely the venue was and how great the service and food was.  Our wedding day was perfect!!!!  Thank you so much sue and her team!!!!!!

We held our wedding at Cassels in 2008.  We received fantastic service from the hosts from start to finish.  I absolutely loved the fact that there was a wet weather option - a must I think for wedding venues due to the changeable Auckland weather, even in summer.  It rained literally from start to finish on our day in Feb 08 and we still managed to have our much wanted ‘outdoor’ wedding in the covered courtyard area.  The rain was pouring down but it sounded quite magical & romantic falling on the canopy.

The food was fabulous, as were the table decorations.  Sue went to an extra effort to light lots of candles and make the reception area romantic due to the terrible weather and it was really appreciated. 

We still get comments today about how lovely the venue was and I would recommend it to anyone.  We have very fond memories of our day and it is largely because of the venue.

The main problem with Cassels from my point of view was the traffic noise in the ceremony area. While the little garden is nice enough, Scenic Dr and therefore a lot of cars is just a few metres away. Besides that the food and the rest of the facilities were pretty good from a guests point of view.
