Ida is brilliant! From our first meeting and initial zoom calls Ida was amazing every step of the way. She made us feel so at ease with planning the ceremony. She tailored the service to our personalities and has such a beautiful way with words. She made all of us laugh and cry during the service. A true professional with the right awareness on where to stand so our photographer could get some amazing snapshots. She made our happiest day that much more special and we’re so glad we chose her to tie the knot for us.

From our very first meeting with Ida, we felt we had met just the right person to be our celebrant.

Ida was attentive as to how we envisaged our day. She took time to gather a little of our history together ensuring the service she created for us was personal and special.

On the day, Ida’s warmth and gentle humor put us at ease. She led us through ceremony with a real sense of inclusiveness for everyone. Ida was key in helping make our day a very special and happy one.

Our service was very short and sweet. We eloped to Russell. Ida was absolutely amazing from the moment I called her just 2 months before our day. We had so many laughs over phone and email. When we finally met Ida in person on our day it was as though we were reuniting as long time friends. It was such a relaxing and wonderful Occassion.  Ida went above and beyond to make it memorable. Ida is just awesome. Our wedding ceremony was everything we wanted it to be - short and sweet. Ida was fabulous from the moment I called to ask her to be our celebrant. I felt as though I had known her for years already.  Ida went above and beyond in so many ways. We couldn’t of wished for anything better.
It’s a pity a wedding isn’t like a birthday that comes around every year cause we would book it in every year with Ida.

Ida is so wonderful. She made the whole process easy and fun. I was really nervous about doing my vows but Ida put me at ease. She gave us questions to answer and vow examples and ideas and made it all so easy and fun. I highly recommend her.

Ida was amazing – far more than I could have expected. Extremely warm, extremely knowledgeable, extremely onto it! From the moment I made contact Ida answered questions I did not realise I had – she was always a step ahead. Not only did I get married, I felt I had made a friend with Ida. Ida first took the time to get to know us and seemed to instinctively know what we wanted for our wedding ceremony including the vows!
She really brought everything together and was like a one stop shop. Ida recommended everyone and everything that we required: Photographer, Flowers, witnesses, venues, & how to apply for the License. The photographer (Alex from Shoot North) became our trusty witness too (with fantastic photos which turned up in our inbox within 2 days!). Diane our beautiful & capable witness (from the Duke of Marlborough Hotel where we spent an amazing 2 days) was outstanding, giving up her lunchtime for us and being the most dutiful, kind & thoughtful bridesmaid! The recommended Florist was wonderful and our flowers were perfect. All thanks to Ida’s recommendations.
Ida is thoughtful, understanding, asked the right questions, knowledgeable on every front (even knew how to sort the grooms buttonhole on his very precious leather waistcoat!)
She made the whole process including the wedding easy yet very special and magical.

We decided to elope to Russell and were recommended Ida as our celebrant.  We had no idea what we had to do and Ida calmly and easily let us know what to do and did the rest for us!  We met over Zoom and when we did meet Ida in person we felt like she was an old friend.  She looked amazing and the wedding was so smooth and easy.  Beautiful words by Ida and she had even arranged witnesses for us.  It was both fun and romantic and we couldn’t recommend Ida enough.  You won’t be disappointed with her warm and caring manner and professionalism.  She is passionate about her job and it shows.  Five stars!

Ida has energy and authenticity that made our day really special. We were very lucky to have her support us through the process. Ida is a great communicator and made organising everything from another country/time zone really easy, contributing in a collaborative style that made our ceremony special for us and our guest.

What can I say!! Ida was literally the most amazing celebrant we could have asked for. She was always so easy to contact and put so much time and effort into getting to know us to make sure our vows were perfect. She spent time going through multiple drafts and always checking in with us throughout our engagement to make sure we had everything we needed. All of our wedding guests commented on how wonderful she was and how special she made the ceremony. We’re so glad we picked her to be part of our special day ❤️

We are so fortunate to have found Ida for our elopement in NZ. From the first contact over Skype we instantly knew she was the one. Ida is kind and caring and has provided us support on every step of the way -and went over and beyond! Ida wrote a beautiful ceremony and helped us with our vows. Ida is absolutely total package everything wedding fabulousness! From our very first meeting the year prior at Charlottes Kitchen, we were sold on her approachability, knowlege, and overwhelming enthusiasm for helping our day happen… and happen well! Even though we planned our wedding from Australia via email and phone, nothing was a problem, silly idea or too much to ask. Through her responsiveness and well thought out guidelines, draft scripts, vendor contacts, run sheets, marriage license guidance and checklists we very early on knew it would be all ok on the day. Closer to our actual wedding, Ida provided a beautiful draft ceremony which captured everything we had told her (and some things she had just picked up getting to know us along the way!) that meant the most to us. Ida coordinated a rehearsal to put any last minute logistic fears to rest, and on the day itself became as much a welcome part of our ceremony as any guest present. Her handover to Charlottes Kitchen was seamless amd we could not recommend Ida highly enough to ensure a stress free best day of your life.

Ida was an absolutely fabulous celebrant. She really customized the service to our personality and interests and made it so special. She was super flexible and happy to help us out with vows and speeches. She was also very organized and professional - bringing the pre-filled wedding contract, portable PA system and printing off all our vows.

Ida is really lovely, friendly and easy going.

She nailed the relaxed vibe we were after for our wedding and was super flexible when we made heaps of changes the personalised ceremony she wrote us!

Ida supplied her own sound system, signing table & chairs which was also one less thing we had to worry about organising.

Ida is an absolute gem. From the first time we met with Ida for a drink at the Duke of Marlborough we knew that she would be the perfect host for our wedding! Ida gave us all of the detailed information and guidance that we needed prior to the wedding - including a lovely Skype catch up. She did not push us even though we were often very late getting info to her and made it all such a lovely experience. On the day itself, Ida set the scene of our wedding, we wanted a fun, relaxed and very ‘us’ vibe for the day and for all of our guests. Thank you Ida for such an amazing ceremony and how easy it was to get to that point! Ida is the wedding coordinator at The Duke (our venue) and after meeting a few times it only made sense to have Ida bring our whole day together, Ida is excellent at reading people and tailored our day to exactly what she thought we would want, and she nailed it! Ida really is the complete package as a celebrant and in our minds, Ida went over and above her role and became our coordinator to make sure nothing is not considered on the day. 
Ida is fun, professional, organised and extremely good at keeping up the communication leading up to the event no matter where you are based.  In our case, Ida liaised beautifully with the Duke, taking the leading role in making sure not just the ceremony but also the reception went as smoothly as possible. 
Lastly what impressed us the most was how keen Ida really is to get to know you personally as a couple.  This in turn makes her a genuine personality when conducting a ceremony and not just someone standing there to tick the boxes.  In fact her touch made our ceremony more beautiful and meaningful than we had imagined. 
Ida - thank you so much once again.  We are still smiling from ear to ear - despite the wild weather Russell threw at us that day!!!

I cannot thank Ida enough for making our wedding day one to remember. From start to finish, Ida made everything seem so easy and non-stressful. Every question I had she answered. She went over and beyond to make our day special.
Not only was she our celebrant but also our wedding planner for The Duke, I could not have asked for a better planner than her. I was fairly picky when it came to the food, any change I wanted to make she made it happen!

Once we were married and the night came to an end, up in our room waited an amazing bottle of bubbles, a package with our vows, a copy of what was said at the ceremony and an amazing card from Ida and the staff at the Duke. It was that special touch that brought a tear to my eye.

We just can’t imagine Ida not being at our wedding!

From the start to the finish Ida was well organised, transparent, clear, structured and just a pleasure to work with on our wedding.

Ida has a real strength of character which enabled us to just enjoy our day knowing that she would bring together a ceremony and reception which was uniquely us.
