James and Eleanor were just the best photographers that we could ever have asked for. They were friendly and so easy to talk to.  When put our ideas across, they would give us their ideas and we came up with the perfect day. On the day they were just perfect and everything ran smooth and they stayed right to the end. They took the most amazing photos and they all came out perfect.

Of all the decisions that are involved in wedding preparation, this is the one we agonised over the most.  For us, choosing someone to share in and capture the memories of our special day was a really big deal!

James and Eleanor put us at ease from our very first meeting, and were very considerate, helpful and patient while we came to our decision.  And we don’t regret a thing!  We found them to be professional, considerate and lots of fun to be around!

These guys don’t just turn up and take wedding photos.  They take the time to get to know you, to capture personalities, to notice unique opportunities.  And the end result is not just a collection of shiny photos but a beautiful story full of unique, personal and genuine moments in time. 

James and Eleanor ooze natural talent and definitely have an eye for this kind of work, coupled with a very friendly, personable approach and a quirky sense of humour.  We were honoured to have them share in our wedding day.

James and Eleanor photographed our wedding back in early January, and I would recommend them to anybody.

From our first meeting with them, they instantly put us at ease, and it was reassuring to leave the photography side of things in their capable hands.

The photographs we received back were more than what we could have imagined for, and we’ve had countless compliments from showing them around to family and friends.

Above everything, James and Eleanor are lovely folk - the kind of people I’d like to invite to my wedding anyway - and it was more than a pleasure to spend a day in their company.

I am so glad that we chose to go with Jel Photography!  James and Eleanor took our photos for us over 2 weeks ago.  We are so pleased with how the photos turned out and how quickly they got them back to us! They were so easy going to work with and we barely noticed them taking photos (which is exactly what we wanted).  All our friends and family are also very impressed with the shots! Lovely, down to earth couple who worked really well together, covering nearly every aspect of our wedding with some really funky creative shots as well as your standard “kiss the bride” etc shots. We have some amazing photos as a result, that we will treasure forever!

Right from the beginning, Jel stood out to us as impeccable artists who would be easy to work with. After having an engagement photo shoot with them, we were confident that their style of photography would work for us, as two individuals with a track record of not being terribly photogenic! They took on board everything that we mentioned was important to us at a pre-wedding meeting, while also sharing with us their experience of what worked.

On the day they were professional while remaining approachable and fun to be around. We can honestly say that our location photo shoot was one of the highlights of our day. While their style was unobstrusive, they are equally capable of organising the more formal shots. They were prompt in responding to, and initiating, communication and provided our photos promptly after we got back from our honeymoon! James and Eleanor’s artistic vision combined with their technical skill gave us not only a narrative record of our day but also many shots which we treasure. We would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for superb wedding photography.

Jel Photography were wonderful and easy to deal with, right from the quick responses to the dealing with last minutes changes that were thrown at them.They also need to be congratulated on their patience as I wasn’t easy to deal with. The pictures that they took were breathe taking and original, and the design of the album was absolutely brilliant. It was very difficult to find a photographer as there were SO MANY out there but your search can now end with them as I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Eleanor and James took our wedding photos for us last April.  We were both a little nervous to be the centre of attention and we didn’t really want to pose for too many photos.  We loved their laid back approach and were delighted with the results.  Having both Eleanor and?James taking photos at the same time meant they could take more natural, relaxed photos as we never had to force a smile at the camera.

A year on we thought it would be great to take the same approach when we wanted to take some photos of us with our newborn baby.  Again it was such a lovely experience and the photos were absolutely stunning.

Jel Photography were brilliant on our Wedding Day.  They captured the essence of the day with very laid back casual shots mixed with a few more formal shots to keep everyone happy. They were very helpful in the planning stages especially when it came to time allocated to photos. A very professional couple who we felt very comfortable with.

Can’t recommend James and Eleanor enough. I absolutely love our wedding photo’s as they catch the day as it happens.  You hardly notice that they are there and its great have two photographers where you are able to get two points of view.

James and Eleanor took the photos at our wedding 3 weeks ago and I was delighted with the final pictures! The only problem I have is choosing which ones to print for my album, as they are all so stunning!

It is difficult to choose a photographer for your wedding as there are so many companies to choose from so it is best to go for one that has been reccomended to you, I am always finding reviews about Jel, they seem to have a lot of fans.

It was so neat to have 2 photograhers (one to go with the bride and the other, the groom) to take pre-ceremony shots. They were both so laidback and relaxed which is exactly what you need around those stressful few hours.

They took a great mix of creative artistic shots and lovely romantic shots which was very important to me. I couldn’t fault their quality, enthusiasm and professionalism. Thanks Jel Photography! I will be reccomending you to everyone I know getting married in the future.

Jel Photography are outstanding Wedding Photographers. The way they went around quietly and took absolutely delightful photos was fantastic. They have done an absolutely fantastic job at our Son and Daughter-In-Law’s Wedding. Their attention to detail was great. I would thoroughly recommend them to potential couples getting married.
