Joanna photographed our engagement session in May 2012. She did such an amazing job on the photos and was so easy to work with that we also booked her for our wedding in April 2013.

Needless to say our wedding photos are beautiful. Joanna’s approach to wedding photography is very natural and her direction makes posing easy.

From the detail shots before hand, the ceremony, the bridal shoot and the reception Joanna didn’t miss a beat and all the best parts of our wedding are highlighted in her beautiful photos.

Joanna is very professional, friendly, easy to work with and great with the youngest members of the bridal party (the photos of my 4 & 7 year old nieces are stunning). I highly recommend Joanna Walker and hope to continue using her for newborn and family photos.

Joanna did an incredibly amazing job with our wedding photos. Her style was perfect for what we were after and they all turned out absolutely amazing. She was professional and knew just how to get the perfect shot. The value for money you get from Joanna is outstanding and we were over the moon with the results.
After we got our photos back they were so good we decided to have her do a leather bound album for us too. It is stunning and so worth the extra price.

Joanna was great to work with throughout our planning process, on the day, and after the wedding. We were planning from overseas and she was very helpful and understanding. We only met her for the first time a week before the wedding but we were at ease that she knew what she was doing, and the photos she produced were beautiful. I especially love our location portraits. She does naturally posed portraits so well. Looks like her prices gone up this year but still best value for money.

Joanna was our photographer at our wedding in January this year at Kumeu Valley Estate.

Joanna was fantastic throughout the planning and on the wedding day.  My husband and I were both very nervous about the photos as we are both camera shy but Joannas style of shooting made made us both feel so at ease and she managed to capture our day perfectly.  She was so incredibly easy to work with - we couldnt have asked for better.

The photos she took were absolutely stunning, I cant wait to get some up on my wall at home.

Jo was our photographer for our wedding in December 2012.  She did an absolutely amazing job and we’re thrilled with our photos.  She captured the essence of the day beautifully from the boys relaxing at the beginning of the day through to our first dance. 
Jo has an artistic eye and captured amazing images from even the simplest setting.  I loved her style of catching those natural moments as I often frieze in front of a camera.  Jo worked quickly and was easy to work with. Everyone commented on how she blended in and they didn’t even notice her there during those special, intimate moments. 
We’ll definitely use Jo again to capture other memories in our lives.

Joanna took our engagement and wedding photos. She did an amazing job in both shoots, she was very organised, proactive and creative. The photos were just exactly how we wanted them to be.

Joanna took our wedding photo’s for our wedding in March 2011 in Tutukaka.  She captured us, our friends and family and our special day fantastically.

Joanna took the photos for our small intimate wedding.  We were on the same page from the get go and it was super easy to relate to Joanna what we wanted as well as her offering awesome input and suggestions.  As we wanted mostly candid real photos there was no real set structure and Joanna smoothly and effortlessly flowed with us and the day.  Joanna seemed to capture all the right moments and blended in. She was very prompt with getting the photos to us and when we saw them for the first time we were absolutely blown away with how incredible they were - we still can’t stop looking at them.  It was amazing how we both had the same ideas of little areas we had seen.  Joanna was really great value for money and we are sooooo over the moon with our wedding photos - we definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing photographer to capture any special moment.

I have been involved in two wedding parties that Joanna has photographed in the past 18 months,  on both occasions she was an outstanding photographer who captured stunning images that were both intimate and   natural.  She has innovative ideas and is extremely easy to work with.  I love the way she seems to fade into the background and yet is getting every precious moment from bride & groom, wedding party and guests.

She has also photographed my 2 week old baby and again was patient and outstanding.

I wanted a photographer for our wedding in January 2011 who would do mostly casual photos with a few more formal family photos thrown in.  I flew back from the UK for our wedding in Warkworth and therefore needed someone who gave me confidence over email.  Joanne sent me a link to her favourites before I left to fly back to the UK and this was so useful, this was what I sent family and friends as a “snap shot” of our day.

Joanna was incredible, the photos were beyond my expecations and I think the highest recommendation you can have is two of my friends booked her straight away for their weddings in February this year, as well as, two of my sisters for a baby photo shoot.

Joanna Walker was nothing short of amazing on the day. She arrived on time and worked with us at several locations. She worked around us capturing fantastic shots before during and after our wedding cermony. The shots wernt staged or “set up”, but were natural and have that candid appeal.

We booked Joanna as our wedding photographer for our wedding up north.  We were really happy that she was able to travel from Auckland to take our wedding pics, as in April 2011 she photographed my brothers wedding on Waiheke and she did an amazing job!!
We did not have to wait long for our wedding photos and were over the moon with them.  Joanna managed to capture every element of the wedding and the presentation of the photos was lovely and creative.  On the day Joanna was super flexible and able to work with all our ideas.

Joanna took our wedding pictures in Feb 2011.  The photos are amazing and are dotted around our house and we just love to look at them. People comment all the time about how fantastic they are.
