Sandra was a great wedding celebrant. We had a small, relaxed wedding and wanted no mention of religion. Sandra was happy to customise the ceremony to what we wanted. She gave us guidance and ideas when we needed it and left us to ourselves when we needed that too.

She helped to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day. So many of our guests commented on how great and professional she was and it was lovely that she stayed for a drink to celebrate with us afterwards too. She matched her dress to our colours and made an effort to move out of the way of photographs (not that we would have minded her being in them!).

From our first meeting with Sandra we were really happy that we chose her and we would definitely recommend her to other people looking for a celebrant. I can’t stress enough how amazing it was that she was all about helping to make our day what we wanted. Thank you Sandra <3

She guided us through the whole process from the beginning, giving great advice on how to build our perfect ceremony, vows and reading. Nothing was too much trouble. Even since we were coming from overseas to NZ, she guided us on how to get the paperwork all ready in advance- very smooth process.

She took the time to get to know us and we felt an instant connection with her.

She has a great personality, set the perfect warm and friendly vibe, (with a few perfect jokes) to lighten the mood.

Everyone said it was such a fantastic ceremony filled with love, laughter and perfectly tailored for us.

Sandra was fundamental to our wedding ceremony coming together.
We didn’t really have an idea of what we wanted, only what we didn’t want and she put together the perfect plan and script for us.

Sandra had a lot of great ideas when it came to vows, and even lent us some books to get ideas from.

Leading up to the day, she checked in and made sure plans were all coming along and kept things positive as things were getting stressful.

Sandra made an effort to not only get to know us and make the day best for us but on the day liaised with the venue staff and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect down to details like making sure she had our music on her phone in case something happened – Very thoughtful!

Fair to say we have gained a friend in Sandra and would highly recommend Sandra being part of your wedding day.

Sandra made our wedding day so special, she suggested having a tree which all of our family tied bows onto as a sign of our families blending, So many of our family and guests thought this was such a special idea.

Sandra had great ideas for making the day special.

Our wedding was held at the local boating club and when Sandra arrived there were some small boats still there, she politely moved them on, I had no idea at the time all of the effort she put to ensure the setting was perfect. She took the stress away. 

The ceremony was light-hearted and all about our personalities. Sandra knew from our conversations prior to the meeting what we wanted and she delivered it perfectly.

Sandra was the perfect celebrant for us. She took our ideas and personalities on board and helped us create a ceremony that was perfect for the both of us. We are in no way fancy people so the thought of an over the top ceremony was a worry, but Sandra made us feel at ease by creating a short and sweet ceremony that was also meaningful to us as a couple.

I was up and down with the timing of our initial meetings and rehearsals but Sandra was totally flexible and fitted in with our busy schedule perfectly.

She made sure everything was set up for us on the day and presented herself professionally as well as matching her outfit colours to the theme of our wedding which was a great touch.
