Just reading the feedback from Amber. I am very suprised Northridge gave your Deposit back as they would of had to of had another wedding booking to do so as it states that it is only re-fundable if another wedding booking. You sound like a very bitter and sad person.Kaylene the charge for beverage prices are what you would pay at any hotel and room rates where else would you of stayed with in 2mins of your wedding venue? This is a very sad reveiw as we accepted the prices when we selected this venue, if you didn’t like the prices Kaylene why on earth did you select it this was your big day surely you new the prices when you booked? Seems crazy to me as we booked out all the accomadation and my guests just didn’t want to drive and we had the best night of our lives and our guests still talk about it now so to all picking this venue go for it dis-regard some bitter person because it so so not like this. Staff, food everything about the place is excellent.

A great venue. The ceremony area was beautiful.  It was private which created a warm and cozy environment.  The service from staff we received was AAA rating.  Our room was spacious, clean and tidy.  Our windows looked out onto the golf course.  A lovely country feel.  The food was outstanding.  There was variety and everything was very tasty.  I will recommend this venue for future events that we may have.

Great wedding outside setting was awesome, unfortunately the room had no windows and cost us $160 along with that we had a cold shower in the morning. The food was ok but the drinks were exorbitant $9 for a glass of Lindeur, a bottle is only $8. All in all a very poor performance for such an important time.

We had a great day and stay at Northridge. It was the third or fourth event I’ve been to there. Location and faciilties are great. The rooms were really tidy and warm, with clean bathroom etc. Food was delicious. Maybe a little pricey for a room, but its for a special day so that isn’t a problem. I thought it was great value to have a day with good friends, a night off from the kids, and a sleep in too.  A golf course on your doorstep!

I have dealt with Northridge a few times and I have always found them extremely professional and always go above and beyond to accommodate any needs you may have. They are a pleasure to deal with.

It was an amazing venue the grounds are gorgeous and the organisers had everything set up to perfection and ensured all requirements were met from the Bride.

All the guest commented on how amazing the food was.

I would definetly recommend Northridge to others.

This is a beautiful setting for a wedding, but it is a shame that the finer details haven’t received their final polish.

We were a little surprised on arrival that we needed to pay for the room upfront. We had already paid a $100 deposit and this seemed a little strange. I pointed out to the woman that served us that we would be having breakfast at the venue and were likely to be ordering drinks so it would be easier if we could pay all in one go.

She said that she had instructions that everyone needed to pay because they’d had so many run-outs, but asked us to come over to one of her colleagues for clarification. The new person pointed out that we hadn’t yet had the breakfast or drinks so shouldn’t pay upfront. I pointed out that we hadn’t had the room yet either!

Anyhoo we paid and then waited for someone to show us to our room. In the end I needed to interrupt the three staff members that had started to talk about something else to ask them if they wouldn’t mind helping us out. I would suggest that Northridge contact other providers to see how they manage their guests and payments.

Luckily my new sister-in-law had a wonderful wedding day and was oblivious to any of this (until now!).

Our Wedding day was perfect beautiful day, beautiful location and of course my beautiful bride. The people at Northridge made the whole day a pleasure. They where helpful and nothing was too much trouble, they were very flexible when it came to last minute changes in accommodation numbers etc. They made us feel the center of attention even though they had other thinks to do during the day everything was secondary to our wedding.

Contact with Northridge was always prompt and even though sometimes not instant was always within the same working day and what more can you ask for.

All options for different weather conditions are available on site and the food was superb. Nobody went away hungry or without enough to drink. The whole day was perfect.

I would recommend Northridge to anybody that is looking to get married in a very beautiful part of the world.

There is NOTHING that I would have changed about this day.

The staff were so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.  From the first meeting they:
1. Gave us all of the information we could have possibly wanted,
2. Returned calls within the same day
3. Kept us informed of guest booking rooms - I restricted who could stay initially to give those from out of town and the bridal party first option
4. Provided written quotes of costs - This was one of the most reasonable venues available over the labour weekend
5. Explained additional costs for more people staying in a room.  Very reasonable considering all the changing of room layouts they did for us
6. Set up the ceremony location and involved us in the details of the layout
7. Gave us options with the reception layout and made it look spectacular

Most of all ......  THEY TOOK AWAY ALL THE STRESS!

The weather for the week leading up to the wedding was varied but mainly raining.  With this venue there are 3 options.  Outside, in the conservatory and in a conference room.  So it did not matter if the weather was fine or stormy they only needed 20mins to set up inside if needed.

The food was brilliant.  The roast vegetables the other reviewer mentioned must have been the COLD ROAST vegetable salad.  Which was divine.  All of the other food which was meant to be hot was hot and there was more than enough for my hungry guests.

I cannot thank the team at Northridge enough for making me feel special, taking away my stress and looking after my guests.

I would recommend Northridge to any future bride.

Amber was soooo lucky!
I am not one to normally complain but so many things just didnt come together.

Fantastic venue, stunning grounds and the underling staff were wonderful! Thats the positive done.

The Negative - well where to start. The food was mostly cold when it was meant to be hot, and we were the first table to eat, so I dread to think what the rest of the guests got. And point of fact, I used to do catering for a living, so I know that roast potatoes should be hot! And for the price…omg, it was pitiful.

Speaking of prices - someone needs to get all the staff on the same page in regards to the cost of the rooms. We were going to stay in a suite with my mum and dad, that way I was certain they were safe and not driving late at night. (Dads 80yrs) Got one price from one staff member only to be told by the manager…that price is for 2 ppl only and any extras in the room would be at $50p/h. I have stayed in 5star hotels in LA that didnt charge that much!

Bar prices are beyond what I paid in LA even after the money conversion for NZ beers and wines.

The people managing this place should all have to wear masks and carry guns the way they are robbing people!!!

I would never recommend this place to anyone, unless maybe they got new management!! With what they charge they should be able to afford the very best.

I could go on and on and on but I am trying to focus on the many positive things that happened on the day, thanks to our two wonderful families and friends.

Unfortunately worst Wedding experience ever,
Ill be short and sweet, the venue is gorgeous, its just a real shame its run by unprofessional , unkind, insenstive Owners.

6 weeks out of my wedding i was informed via a email that they had booked the accommodation rooms out for the conference that morning on my wedding day - absolutely wouldn’t interfere with my wedding how ever, never once thought to find out where my guests would be staying ( after my endless attempts of emails to communicate with north ridge ) to actually organize my wedding day they never answer the phones there - just saying.
I literally just gave up! if my wedding day isnt important to them - there’s no way id get married there - i just felt like one big inconvenience to them and for the cost of a wedding there - they really should treat you with customer service that would start

I was fortunate enough to receive my Wedding Bond back - after endless abusive calls -

Its such a shame - because the venue is quite special - how ever , Your wedding day isnt important to them, i wouldn’t bother seriously ...
