We were really happy with Filia as our celebrant. She was always warm, friendly, relaxed and helpful. Nothing was ever a problem for her. She was happy to come to us when we were busy.  Was always in contact with us by email (which was our preferred way as we were not often by our phones). Filia was happy to change the ceremony until it was just what we wanted and was happy with a last minute change right before the ceremony. She reminded us of all the practical things we needed and we would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Filia for being a part of our day!

Filia was chosen as our celebrant from this website. We meet with her and she had some great ideas. From there we decided to have her as our celebrant. Our wedding was a short-notice one as had 6 weeks. Filia helped us organise a relaxed backyard wedding and it was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic ceremony with Filia.
Everything was arranged with her in plenty of time and exactly how we wanted it. All the options and possible contingencies were discussed between the three of us and our plan was great. Filia was in email and text contact with us as per our agreement and she was always ready and organised.
The day of our wedding was wet so option C came in to play and that worked out just fab. Filia was full of smiles and laughs as we both were. She made sure we were comfortable and relaxed along with doing all the official bits so we could have a great ceremony.

We saw Filia’s reviews on this website and thought she sounded like our ideal celebrant. We met at her house initially and discussed what we wanted in a celebrant, she shared her knowledge and told us what to expect and from there we agreed she was perfect! Following this meeting we received her sample ideas and did some brainstorming ourselves on what we would like to include in our ceremony. We then met a couple more times, had a rehearsal at the venue and low and behold, it was wedding day. The whole ceremony process was smooth and seamless. We felt we had the knowledge we needed for our day. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect celebrant - we would recommend her to any couples.

myself and my wife chose Filia as our wedding celebrant as she understood exactly what we were looking for and she went about everything in such a nice relaxed fashion, we also liked the fact that she was close to our age.
when the big day came Filia was great.

I would highly recommend Filia for your celebration as we found her so friendly and accommodating.  We had a rather unusual out of town wedding and Filia was immediately on board with our plans.  She was happy to travel to the venue before the wedding to have a run through and of course happy to travel again on the day.  She was so friendly and willing to go with what we wanted but also it was brilliant to have her input on all the things we didn’t know about.  We plan to renew our vows at some stage and hope that Filia can be a part of that because she played such a big part in making our day as awesome as it was!

Filia is a great celebrant, she was very professional, very friendly and presented herself well. Filia has a great sense of homour and spoke in a very clear voice which was great as we got married by the beach. For the service she gave us lots of options and advice and totally went along with what ever we wanted. I would have her again in a flash…. But of course I am not getting married again.

We chose to have a short traditional ceremony, non-religious and family friendly. Filia helped us to write our own ceremony , including offerings of poems, songs and extra fun moments. We also announced our pregnancy through the ceremony and Filia was more than obliging to incorporate this too!

Originally obtained Filia’s details from www.celebrant.co.nz and met with her within a week or so. Right from the get-go she was welcoming and very approachable. As this was our first wedding we didn’t know what to expect, and she provided step-by-step advice from organisation of ceremony to obtaining the marriage licence. I liked Filia’s approach; happy, pleasant and willing to provide assistance right through to the wedding day.
I have no hesitation in recommending her.
