Everything about Soljans is perfect.  We chose the venue as it was a favourite spot of ours.  I had organised a work Christmas party a few years ago and had many lunches and wine tastings so knew it was great. Our wedding coordinator, Brittany was amazing.  She was unobtrusive and helpful, and went above and beyond t help us.  I can highly recommend this venue to all.  I planned my wedding from overseas (I grew up out west though) without any problems.  On the day Brittany was on hand to sort out last minute details.  The decor is classic, the outdoor pergola beautiful and the food divine.  We also chose this venue for the wine.  Soljans have the most delicious wines.  But the highlight for the night absolutely was the staff.  We were treated amazingly.  Thanks Soljans!

We had an incredible wedding at Soljans recently thanks to Alex (Soljans event manager) and the team. Alex is very professional, organised, helpful and quick to respond to many of our enquiries. We’ve had great response from our guests about the food (we went for the buffet option) and the wines. The buffet menu caters for our guests’ special dietary requirements (we have a vegetarian, a person with dairy-allergy, and a Muslim). The chef also made me non-alcoholic tiramisu as I am allergic to alcohol, and also able to make the fruit salad non-alcoholic as we have guests with children (on the original menu, the fruit salad was to be infused with alcohol).

We looked at few other venues before confirming with Soljans and we were very happy with our decision.

On the night, Brittany and the team were very helpful and took the stress off me and my husband. They did the setup beautifully as we wanted it to be, and throughout the night they attended to us and our family and our guests. We were very impressed with their professionalism.

One thing to note is that we didn’t know that Alex has charged us an estimate price for the 2 bottles of wines per guest table on our final invoice. We were not made aware that the price on the final invoice is only an estimate, so we were quite surprised to receive a 2nd final invoice after our wedding. We thought we have paid everything. We have pointed this out to Alex and hopefully Soljans will make other bride & groom aware of this estimate arrangement for wines on tables.

Overall, Soljans is a very great venue to have and we didn’t regret having our wedding here. We had a blast, and our guests were happy. We all enjoyed the atmosphere, the food & beverages. Alex and the team were very professional and helpful.

We would be happy to recommend Soljans to anyone planning their wedding or any other special celebrations (anniversaries, birthdays).

Post wedding and I now have my feet back on the ground! WOW what a spectacular day it was! The weather was perfect and the winery was in perfect order.
Alex (Soljans wedding co-ordinator) and the team at Soljans did an exceptional job in helping to make our day both memorable and picturesque. Alex made herself available via phone, internet and in person to discuss all aspects of the wedding and helped to bring our vision to life.
Alex and the team alleviated much stress off me as the bride by taking care of the centrepieces and helping to set up the cards table display - this was set up just as I had described, wowing our guests.
I really liked how accommodating Soljans were in regards to the children at the wedding; allowing the kids to have their trikes in the courtyard, arranging special meals for the littlies and even going the extra mile organising a special meal for my daughter who has a long list of allergies.
The quality of the facilities were amazing! Prior to the wedding there had been much rain, Alex diligently took this into consideration and specially organised for the grass to be mowed a few days out from the wedding to allow the grounds to dry in the hope that Saturdays weather would be fine enough for us to have our ceremony outside under the pergola. Without this special consideration I doubt the grounds would have been in any condition to have had it outside.

Scaling a fence to have photos taken under an archway of cherry blossoms, an opportune moment with a neighbouring horse, the oak barrels, the rustically staked crates and let me not forget to mention the grape vines offset by a beautiful sunset! Many fabulous opportunities to capture some truly spectacular moments…..VERY excited to get our photos back!

There are some minor things which I have discussed with Alex that I so believe do addressed so as to keep Soljans as a cut above the rest.  The cleanliness of the wine/champaign glasses is a point worth mentioning; some guests complained of having to send back glasses multiple times. Furthermore I also heard of guests seeing staff eating the canapés which were said to have not reached all our guests. These are minor things to work on and Alex has assures me that she will follow up on them to ensure that they do not reoccur.

Soljans is a beautiful place, nice venue and big enough to take a big crowd.

i loved the set up even though it rained, inside was good. 

However, as a maid of honor I was dissapointed that the bride and groom, the most important people of the day who paid soljans to look after their guest and them were completely ignored.  I’m sure most of the guests would have their own story to tell, this is why I believe I should be honest with my feedback. I have been told when most of the guest arrived they were just setting the place.

After the ceremony, champagne and nibbles were to be served - guess what the bride, groom and the bridal party was not even offered. 

They paid for bridal table to be served with the buffet dinner.
Oh my God I have photos of my dinner that was served, some lettuce leaves and things spread in little bits all over the plate - we all looked at each other and wondered if there is enough food for the guests.  I asked for some more food as the brides mums plate had only leaves and she looked a bit upset.  Couldnt believe my eyes when the waiter brought in a little bowl 1 piece of fish!!!!!.

Even the groom had to asked for some more food and the waiter got him some potatoes once again in a ” little bowl”.  (it was very clear to us they didnt want us to eat much and serve much).  Soon after the waiter disappeared and we only started to eat
I found the above behaviour of the waiters unacceptable. 

The bride asked me to go and check if there was any food on the table because I was still hungry and the waiter wasnowhere to find. I went and had a look, , all left over food was put away so fast. 

Wait theres more!  Dessert.  Buffet dessert, again, I got a photo of mine.  A flower from the cake and a couple of other little spoonfuls (not even a piece of wedding cake!!!).  I still cant work out why a flower from the cake that we can’t eat.  In the bridal table was 10 people and two elderly parent, I really felt sorry for them. I was not allowed to get out and help them because I was told that the bridal table is going to be served.

Later on I saw left over desserts of other things that we were not given. 
Even though my bride and groom are such nice people that would give a good feedback because the place is nice, they had an unfair and raw deal and I feel for them.

I dont know what happened to the left over wines - because each time we saw the waiters (young, wild and free teenagers) were shaking their legs to an ‘OMG my songs on” number, while my bride and groom never got looked after. 

Thank God for McDonalds!!!, I had to go and have a proper feed and come back which made the bride very upset.  I am sure she has let Alex from Soljans know of her concerns on her wedding day however, it went on deaf ears. Not even a sorry from her.

Other brides and grooms just be aware.  It is your beautiful day and you pay whats asked of you in advance that’s why I felt we got such a horrible service because it was all paid in advance and no-one cared. Please make sure you dont get the deal we got.. It is a shame really because it is such a wonderful place.

Alex and the team at Soljans put on a great evening for us on our special day. We had planned on an outside wedding but the weather was against us. The team set up the café for the ceremony and the whole event went off wonderfully.

The food was great and the staff really helpful. We would recommend Soljans to anyone planning any kind of celebration, be it wedding, birthday, or any other special celebration.

We had a perfect day, the Soljans staff were excellent and always helpful. Kylie was brilliant to deal with and nothing was a problem to get our perfect day. We had lots of positive comments about the buffet menu food. We would highly recommend this venue.

The whole experience of dealing with Kylie and Soljans was amazing.  Friendly and motivated to ensure you have the perfect day. Which is what we experienced. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for help and support through the best day of our lives.

Beautiful estate complimented by wonderful staff. We all had a magical experience thanks to all the people involved. Kylie Bradley, our wedding manager, has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole planning and execution process. She was genuine and bubbly, which helped put us at ease. She was with us every step of the way and her relaxed nature in turn helped us to be completely relaxed.

The venue itself is elegant with a lovely setting for the outdoor ceremony. They were able to cater to our all-vegan menu request- and the food was to die for!! All our guests mouths were watering.

I most certainly recommend this venue for weddings or any functions. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the wine with quite a few comments made that is in fact the best wine they’ve ever tasted. Coming from a few wine connoisseurs, it’s prestigious feedback.

We had our wedding at Soljans on Friday. Kylie was great with the planning of our big day. She had lots of recommendations and advice. We chose our cake and our photographer from her suggestions. On the day I was relaxed because I knew everything was sorted. The food was delicious, the venue stunning, and the staff very helpful. At the end of the night the staff even gathered together our things (candles, book to sign, ipod, cake etc) and put them in a box so we didn’t forget anything. We had the perfect day!

Soljans was a wonderful place for my wedding. 
The layout of the winery made for great photos after the ceremony.  There is a pergola and plenty of space to have the ceremony outside.  At this time of year,  the grape vines were healthy and made for a great background for the photos.  Our guest numbers were over 100 and they were able to fit everyone in with space to move around.  They were able to adapt to our dietary requirements of no beef or pork and with one guest being lactose intolerant.  Kylie,  the planner was wonderful,  she was able to make all of our ideas happen.
In the end, our wedding turned out better than what we expected.

I cannot say enough about Soljans Winery Estate.  As you would have read they have a fantastic coordinator - Kylie who is so organised and obliging.  She made my planning so easy, she’s an absolute star.  My guests loved the food and the service was impeccable.  I would totally recommend Soljans if you are looking for a venue that offers outstanding support, service and food.

All of the staff there are so professional, warm and welcoming and we always felt like we were in good hands.
Leading up to the day Kylie was wonderful to work with with, we couldn’t have wished for anyone better to look after us.
On our special day, everything went so well with staff taking extra special care of everything. The place was beautiful, the food delicious and the wines were thoroughly enjoyed by all, and all of our family and friends were impressed with Soljans. It was well worth having our reception there and we have already recommended it to friends.

We held both the ceremony and reception at Soljans on 9 November 2013.  What an amazing venue.  The staff were fantastic on the night, Kylie is so helpful and friendly in every way.  Nothing was too big or too small to arrange and she made the whole experience of organising the wedding fantastic and stress free.

Our day ran so smoothly in every way, the set up was amazing and the food was delicious.  We have had so many positive comments on the staff, food and the whole day.  We couldn’t have asked for anything more - it was just perfect 

Would highly recommend Soljans to anyone!!

Soljans is a great venue, and we are so glad we were able to have our wedding there.

We had our ceremony and reception at Soljans, and all went off with out a hitch. 

Was great that they were able to move the ceremony inside with no problems, due to the weather on the day.
We got some great photo’s with the huge wine barrels, and then managed to get outside for a few shots in the vines while the rain and wind stopped.

The room set up for our reception was great, looked lovely, and nothing was too much trouble.  The food was awesome, exactly what we wanted.  Staff were all very friendly and happy to help.  We’ve had nothing but good feedback from our guests. 

If we could give Flexibility & Value for Money a 6/5, we would.
Kylie was so helpful, organised, and friendly, and is a fantastic asset to Soljans.

We have no hesitation in recommending Soljans.

Thank you for making our dream come true.  Our wedding was perfect, from the food, to the service, decorations and especially clearing out that cellar!

A wine cellar wedding is something we could only have imagined, and you made it a reality.

We were completely blown away when we walked into that cellar.  The staff must have worked so hard over the week to clear it out,

Thanks for accommodating our various requests from heating to using the boardroom for makeup. Thanks for looking after our videographers who wanted to do a time lapse of the transformation process. Thanks for going out of your way to meet us outside your work schedule.

Highly recommend Soljans for everyone who is thinking to look for a venue. This place has everything for a beautiful winery wedding. Heaps of photo taking opportunities everywhere and the friend are very friendly and accommodating. Kylie the event co-ordinators is super helpful and organised.

We had a fabulous wedding at Soljans!  The food was amazing and everyone raved about it afterwards.  The Soljans team were amazingly accommodating on the night their service was second to none.  Soljans wedding coordinator Kylie was Fantastic to deal with, she ensured every last detail was arranged for us and we had absolutely nothing to worry about during the whole process.  Thank you for an Amazing evening!

Soljans was the perfect venue for our wedding.  The set-up is amazing.  It was really nice to have an area for dancing which is slightly removed from the dining area.
