I can’t stop raving about Sophie and the girls! From the day of my trial where Sophie worked to create exactly what I had in mind, through to the wedding day where myself and my 5 bridesmaids all looked amazing! I was so stoked with how we all looked. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night, even after quite a few big hours on the dance floor. Thanks so much xx

From my first contact with Sophie she was friendly and very helpful. I had my trial and Sophie did an amazing job and we only made 1 change for the wedding day.

For my wedding day, Sophie and her team were early, bubbly and did a wondedul job on my myself, my 3 bridesmaids, mum and our family friend. Everyone had different skin types and Sophie and the team had so much knowledge to make sure everyone was happy and looked stunning. We all got a little touch up bag which was needed on such a hot day and after eating and drinking.

I will definitely be using lipstick and co for future events.

I had Sita and the girls do the hair and make up for my wedding - I couldn’t recommend them more highly!
They did an amazing job on myself, 5 bridesmaids and mum! They also did my best friends mum and her sister at short notice on the day of the wedding! Super accomodating! Everyone looked amazing - so nice and natural! Just what I wanted.

I had Caren and her team do my makeup and hair for my wedding. They managed so well considering I had 2 bridesmaids and 3 other guests to do. Was so lovely and professional

Sita was an absolute dream to work with! 

Sita and her team made the morning feel very relaxed but also special. It was a great way to start such a great day! My sister never wears makeup, but the team made her feel completely comfortable and relaxed on the day. Having the team come to us on the wedding day helped to make for a stress free morning as well.

I had some idea of what I wanted to look like on my wedding day - but Sita exceeded those expectations completely! She provided great advice about what would suit me and my dress etc.

I would 100% recommend Lipstick and Co to any potential brides (and I would also recommend having a hair and makeup trial beforehand!)

I would highly recommend lipstick and co services. The girls are really friendly, accomodating and professional. The ladies are very helpful from choosing the right dress to make up and photography. Sita did my hair and makeup she is really lovely and talented. I was very happy with my hair and makeup I felt really pretty on our special day.

Cannot speak highly enough of Sophie and her team! They have been professional and friendly from the very first contact. During my trial Sophie helped me choose the best look for what I was wanting and she did an amazing job with both the hair and makeup. On the wedding day Sophie and her team were right on time and got through me, my four bridesmaids and the two mothers with loads of time to spare! Everyone looked beautiful and even after the full day out in the sunshine and hours of dancing our makeup was still flawless!! Thank you so much ladies!!

I am writing this review about the lovely Sita from Lipstick & Co who did my hair and make up for our wedding.

Sita was professional, helpful, precise and listened to my requests when I showed her the desired pictures that I wanted her to re create.
Sita did a wonderful job of my make up and hair…both for my special day and also for my trial.

Sita used awesome, good quality products…loved MAC! She also answered all my questions when asking what products she used on me which I found to be very helpful.

Sita gave me and my mother a touch up bag that held make up essentials so that we could re apply our lipstick throughout the day.

I would definitely recommend her.

I cannot speak highly enough of Sophie and Abbey who did mine and my bridesmaids’ hair and makeup on my wedding day. I felt like a princess, and my bridesmaids looked beautiful. I had my hair completely different to my trial, but nothing was too much trouble for Sophie. I know my mum and mother in law felt their absolute best, and really felt pampered. Sophie is so professional but also friendly and fun. My makeup and hair lasted the entire night - which was amazing considering the wind up at Mudbrick on the hill, and the amount I sweated on the dance floor! The whole experience was the perfect beginning to the best day of our lives.

Thank you so much Caren and Libby for doing hair and make-up for my bridesmaids and I and make-up for my mum for my wedding in Wellington on 14 January. You made us feel super comfortable and relaxed and went out of your way to make sure we were all happy with how we looked, which we most definitely were! It was the best start to my wedding day. We also really enjoyed reminiscing about 90’s music icons with you both while we were being made up! Thanks also to Caren for reminding me to eat

Sophie and her team were incredible. They came all the way down to Rotorua and did both makeup and hair for my 5 bridesmaids, Mum, Mother-in-law and myself. Caren was a fabulous hair and makeup artist, and I strongly recommend her for anyone in the Wellington area! Her perfect balance between friendly relaxing humor and professionalism made me feel at ease, and that I was in good hands. Caren took on board my very vague directions, and happily worked with me and my sister to create the perfect look for my wedding day.

Sophie and her team were absolutely awesome! They did my makeup, four bridesmaid and my mother and the results were gorgeous. I just loved my look and my husband was just blown away. Sophie was reliable, good at communicating and had such a warm personality that made you feel comfortable the entire time! I used Lipstick & Co for my wedding at Mudbrick last month. I couldn’t have asked for a better day - Sophie made me and my bridesmaid look beautiful from top to toe!! She did an amazing job and it was everything I envisioned.

From the trials to the actual day Sophie took the time to understand what look I was after for my wedding. We used her for hair, makeup, nails, the lot. It’s so nice to have a one-stop-shop for all beauty services, whether it be mobile or in-salon treatments, and she and her team are equally talented at everything they do which is a real rarity.

I really appreciated the time she took on the actual day to ensure everything was perfect. We got given a little pouch of touch-up lipstick and a few other goodies to keep us looking fresh throughout the day which was a fabulous touch. I was very impressed the hair and makeup lasted all day - from midday to midnight both stayed looking perfect.

Sophie is an absolute pleasure to deal with, so friendly and bubbly, an incredibly talented woman, and I am truly grateful for everything she did for me on my special day.

Sophie spent plenty of time with me before the wedding working out what would work for my skin to achieve the look I was after, the end result was beautiful and lasted all night. After finding Lipstick and Co on WeddingWise and falling in love with the looks on their website I was over the moon when Sophie said they were available to do my hair and makeup.

The trial was so much fun and Sophie was such a neat blend of professionalism and easy-going. She was genuine and lovely to talk to, like a friend you’d always known.

I loved the makeup from the trial but knew it would be too much for husband to be (as I wear none normally) After emailing through what changes we could make, Sophie said it would be no problem at all.
And it really wasn’t. On the wedding day, she had memorized everything I had listed to change and fully captured what I was after. 

The hair and makeup lasted really well even in the wind and rain taking photos.

If you’re looking for someone to do an amazing job with your hair and make up and to make you feel beautiful - definitely go with Lipstick and Co

Sophie and the team were amazing - my bridal party, mum and mother-in-law all had such a good time with them while we were getting ready. They really helped to keep us all relaxed, and it was such a fun morning! They were punctual, professional, and they made us all look gorgeous. I only wish I could have Sophie do my hair and make-up every day!

Sophie and her team are such amazing people and went way beyond my expectations, From the moment I met Sophie she made me feel so comfortable and calm. He and Yasmin are both such warm, friendly people and I knew they would do an awesome job, They came to our house before the wedding to do our nails and spray tan for my 2 bridesmaids and myself and they even stayed to help us make the flowers for our centrepieces!! I honestly could not be happier that I chose Sophie and Yasmin to do our hair and make up and would highly recommend them if you want to look beautiful for your special occasion. Thanks!! What a fantastic team! Very professional but relaxed. Great communication over what I knew was a very busy time for Sophie and very accommodating to our requests. They were able to get a lot of people (b, bm x3 and 4 others) ready in a short amount of time after an early start to travel from Auckland to Waihi! The addition of mani and pedi’s made us feel very spoiled.
The hair and make up on the day looked just like the trial. Very natural looking, lasted well and great comments gained from our guests (comfortable too).
I highly recommend Sophie and her team. Thank you so much for contributing to making our wedding such a magical experience.
