Where do I start? Lauren and Delwyn were the first wedding photographers we looked at and without any hesitation we loved their work so much that we decided to go ahead with them and not bother looking at any other photographers!

We ended up getting Delwyn and Rachel for the night and each and every single photo that we received from them was amazing, The pictures really take us back and make us relive the night once again! They managed to capture every single special moment, they were always situated in the best position and managed to stick to the schedule!

So much thought has gone into their product and pictures , from the paper of the pictures to the wooden box it comes with through to the matching wooden USB Stick.

We couldn’t be happier with the pictures and are very grateful for their hard work on the night! Thank you!!

Got to say of all the decisions we made for our wedding one of the best was having the amazing team at The Lauren & Delwyn Project do our photography & video.
Lauren was so lovely to deal with. Right from the start we felt relaxed & at ease that we had found professional photographers with a great vibe & this really made all the difference on the day. Our guests were genuinely happy having photos taken with funny moments making everyone feel good. The energy & enthusiasm & the reassurance of capturing all magic really did show.

They made us both and our families comfortable which is great as both of our families came from overseas and it was the first time for them to meet Lauren & Delwyn on our wedding day.

Our photos came up absolutely stunning (we just recently caught up with them to for our wedding album, and it was soooo hard to finalise which photos to be included in the album as they are all excellent), and we are just over the moon.
They managed to capture every single memories and emotions from our wedding day.

Lauren and Delwyn were amazing! They were our engagement and wedding photographers. Also most recently had our baby boy newborn photo shoot with them. Couldn’t be happier with the result of all the photographs. They are super professional and honest and flexible as to what we wanted for 3 of the most important occasion of our life.

As soon as we got engaged and began looking for a venue, we started looking through some photographers work of the venues we liked. Lauren and Delwyn’s work stood out.  They are both very open with their work, on their blog you can see hundreds of photos they have taken of a single wedding. This was important as I was getting a bit disillusioned with other photographer showing you only ten photos from a weeding. Lauren and Delwyn’s photos were just want we were after, candid photographs with amazing quality.  When Ben and I meet them, we loved Lauren and Delwyn straight away, the could have sold us a shoe box. They are both extremely passionate, friendly and genuine.

We were really lucky in having Rachel and Lauren to capture our wedding day.

They made our day so special. With other dramas occurring throughout our wedding planning, it was nice not to have to worry about our photographers, we knew they would be fantastic. Lauren and her bag of tricks could fix any situation. They braved the wind and a continual down pour to get our photos on Muriwai. It was so worth it.

Our family and friends were blown away by our photographers, they had never seen photographers work so hard and interact with everyone. Everyone commented on how amazing they were… and they hadn’t even see the photos. One of our bridesmaids and groomsmen have now also booked them to do their wedding, This decision was very easy for them, they loved our photographers for the amazing people they were.

We love our photos, Lauren and Rachel have documented our special day in a way we couldn’t imagine. We now have the huge task of working out which photos we want to print.

We intend to continue to use through out our lives to document any and all of our special occasions.

I always knew that, when I got married, photography would be an important part of the day. Photos inspire memories and help to recollect emotions. When we met Lauren and Delwyn, we could tell that they would be easy to work with, yet professional, and we could see that their photographs were great; creative, fun, magical, beautiful.
We were nervous on the day of our engagement shoot (not helped by the fact we were running extremely late!) They patiently waited, and eased our nerves by creating a calm and casual atmosphere.
On the big day, they seemed almost as excited as us. They really wanted to be there to capture our special day. Their passion and excitement rubbed off on everyone. They handled the difficult family and group shots with ease. Best of all, it felt as if they were guests, as if they just should’ve been there!
Our photos are amazing! I love looking at them, and know that I will be proud to show them to anyone who wants to look at them in the future. They conjure all the memories and emotions from the day. I would highly recommend Lauren and Delwyn for your wedding day.

We had the magnificent Lauren and Delwyn photograph our Wedding in March 2013. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish; from our initial meetings, to on the day, to their service afterwards. They brought such enthusiasm and care to our special day and we had the most enjoyable and fun time working with them.  Wedding planning can be quite overwhelming and as photography is such an important aspect of your special day, it can be stressful making a decision on who to choose.

We cannot recommend Lauren and Delwyn highly enough, they are so professional, warm, wonderful and helpful, they have fantastic attention to detail, they go the extra mile, they listen and made us feel so at ease, they had the most incredible locations for us and they are so organised. They ensured we made the most of our photography time creating a helpful schedule for us and in turn helping to make the day run smoothly – we do not have enough amazing words to say about them! We knew as soon as we met them that we were safe in their hands and that they would deliver a beautiful product – which they did. Our photos are absolutely stunning, our album – perfection.  They captured the moments of our special day perfectly and now because of their beautiful photography we are able to look back and treasure those moments forever. 

I have known Lauren for over 20 years, so when my fiancee and I started to plan our wedding, she was the natural choice. Lauren and Delwyn helped us plan our beautiful wedding and sorted out the schedule for the day. They also made sure we stuck to it so we could get our location shoot in just before sunset, with the most beautiful natural lighting.
The whole day went smoothly, due in large part to Lauren and Delwyn’s organisational skills. The photos we received were beyond anything we imagined, they are so beautiful!

As soon as I met Lauren I knew I wanted her to be our photographer. She was warm, friendly, professional and fun. It was clear photography was her passion, and herself and Delwyn were able to capture all the important and precious moments from our wedding. I highly recommend them for any event.

My husband and I had no idea what we had lucked into when we picked Lauren and Delwyn to document our day. I had recently moved back to NZ and met Lauren through an event (not related to weddings) and immediately hit it off with her. When I knew I was going to get married, I reached out and asked her if she wouldn’t mind “taking our photos”. I had never seen a body of work from Lauren and Delwyn, I based my decision on the person that Lauren was, is, and will always be, passionate, overly considerate, clever, reliable, interested, funny, knowledgable, whacky and loving. Then I met Delwyn and discovered she is the perfect Yin to Lauren’s Yang, passionate, sweet, calm, quiet, witty, smart, secretly cheeky, firm, questioning, caring and kind. Somehow we had discovered the dream team of photography (and people) without even trying!

Having them capture our day? BEST DECISION WE MADE. We could have been married in a parking lot and The Lauren and Delwyn Project would have made every moment beautiful. They shared our excitement and calmed our nerves, they had scouted the venue and planned where the best spots were for our photos (something I had NOT even thought of doing)  they not only did their job professionally, quickly and effectively they also made it fun and truly celebrated the night with us.

Since then Lauren and Delwyn have continued to document our lives, baby bump through to cheeky toddler. Every time we see the results, we are blown away. We are also grateful.

Lauren & Delwyn were incredible every step of the way through our wedding. Not just as photographers but fantastically supportive in every way possible. These are two women who are seriously passionate about what they do and it shows in ever aspect of their work.

Lauren and Delwyn were so easy to deal with from beginning to the end. They had a way of easing my stress at each meeting, felt like I had known them forever after chatting with them and they even impressed my groom…who is very hard to impress.

At the wedding they were perfect, helped us run to schedule and impressed our families with their fun sense of humour and professionalism. And the moments they captured demonstrated the kind of day we had, which was lighthearted and fun. Only one problem….I can’t figure out which image I would want to have framed! They were all so well done! They even managed to replicate two ideas for shots that I had which I really appreciated.

I highly recommend the Lauren + Delwyn Project to any future couples…The service they provide is flawless and they make you feel like you’re dealing with friends rather than photographers.

Wow!  Words cannot explain how absolutely AMAZING and talented these two ladies are. 

From the minute we met them, we felt so comfortable and they certainly knew how to capture our special wedding moments.  They pay attention to detail, capture natural moments, and know how to take such creative and stunningly beautiful photographs.

Delwyn and Lauren were absolutely amazing! We felt very comfortable being photographed on our big day and I hate photos! So thats saying something. We were extremely happy that they were so organised and professional as we managed to have a sorted list of all photos so we didn’t need to miss out on some important family and friend shots in the photo rush. I also found them very helpful as we had forgotten our horse-shoe so in-between they raced back to the house and brought it to the venue so we could get some great shots! Definitely recommend and look forward to using them again in the future for family shots.
