Frances was our celebrant for our March 2018 Wedding and looking back now, I realise just how lucky we were to have her there. From the first meeting, we knew immediatly that she was the perfect celebrant for us. She was honest, flexible, reliable, professional and very caring. Frances gifted us the ability to turn our feelings in to statments of meaning that will forever be etched in my heart and woven into the fabric of my marriage. She helped orchestrate the most beautiful day of my life and ill be forever greatful.

We were both so happy to have Frances as our celebrant. She made us feel at ease and was very professional. Right from the first meeting she understood what we were looking for and created the most beautiful ceremony. We had lots of positive comments about Frances and how amazing the ceremony was. Frances makes you feel comfortable through the duration of the ceremony and goes over and above for each couple. Both myself, my husband and all our family and friends raved about Frances throughout the wedding night and weeks after. Another thing that makes Frances special is that she makes an effort to catch up with you a few weeks after the wedding to catch up, see how the rest of the wedding went, see some photos and give you your wedding certificate. I just want to thank Frances with my whole heart for providing us with such a memorable service. And for being part of the most important day of our lives.

Frances Christie has that rare ability to be very professional yet extremely warm and welcoming at the same time which makes for the perfect celebrant. Frances was amazing from the first time we met her. We knew we wanted a nice relaxed wedding and maybe write our own vows but that was it. Frances put us at ease and made us feel calm from that first meeting and all the way through. We really enjoyed getting to know Frances and felt she understood us. She was a wealth of knowledge, made suggestions and offered us resources which were extremely helpful when we choose our reading and for writing our vows. She was really flexible with her time and very patient with us even when my husband left his vows to the day before. On the day Frances went with the flow, kept us calm and relaxed so we got to enjoy every moment. We couldn’t recommend Frances enough to any future couples looking for a wedding celebrant. Well we could write a book on why Frances is the most perfect Celebrant.  If you are looking for someone one is interested in really finding out what you would like for your wedding ceremony, someone who from the first moment you meet them has the loveliest brightest smile, a real interest in finding out who you are, how you found each other and your journey to each other,  Frances is the one:)  For us we had waited a long time to find each other and we had a definite style of ceremony in mind.  A ceremony that would be very simple in our garden, relaxed and very romantic.  We didn’t want it to be rushed or feel functional and at the same time not be too long and formal.  Frances listened to what we wanted for our ceremony and gave us some lovely ideas that we would never have thought of, like lighting a candle for our Parents.  We had our Son sing and Daughter read out a poem.  Frances sent lots of poems and ideas to us and a lovely touch was when she asked us to each send her a few words of what we love about each other to her and on our day she read them out to each of us, it was so special and the tears flowed for sure.  About a week after our big day, Farnces presented us with our wedding ceremony all printed out in a fodler including a gorgeous photo of us, so unexpected but that is the kind of real genuine person she is.  Everything was perfect.  Frances started out as our Celebrant and finished as our friend   Love her to bits.  Thank you Frances for bringing our magical, romantic, crazy, fun, soppy dreams into reality.  Your the BEST

Where to start! From the first email contact Frances Was so lovely and friendly we knew immediately that she was the celebrant we wanted to go with. Meeting her just confirmed it and she made us feel comfortable and relaxed from the start. Frances did a wonderful job designing our ceremony and incorporated our cultural and no-so-traditional elements perfectly she was so flexible with meeting times etc and on the day happily went with the flow with our very vague timetable! Frances was the perfect celebrant for us and fitted with our casual style beautifully, but I have no doubt that she would adapt wonderfully for each and every type and style of wedding she is celebrant for a family member (who also takes weddings) commented on how great she was, and a number of people said that it was like she knew us

From the first of many emails, we just knew she was the right person for us. When we had our phone session to discuss everything it just felt so easy to confide in Frances and put across what feel we were after. We hung up from that conversation and knew she just ‘got us’.

Our day was very special as we eloped to New Zealand and only had us and 2 witnesses. We felt very nurtured and supported by Frances - she oozes love and kindness.

She made us feel so comfortable from start to finish and made it clear to us that apart from the compulsory words in the ceremony, it was ours to make it how we wanted it. This is an extremely overdue thank you for Frances who did an amazing job as our celebrant. From the first time we meet Frances she put us at ease and we enjoyed her company. She tailor made our ceremony keeping in mind our thoughts, inputs and values at all times. She offered us many resources when it came for us to choose our readings and vows which really helped us. Her final touches and bringing everything together really made our day extra special and we were so glad we had the opportunity to have Frances as our celebrant. Her professionalism and wealth of knowledge also helped from helping us to finalize times for running sheets and reminding us with plenty of time to get the marriage certificate etc. Also on the day she was able to keep us calm and fully enjoy every moment of our wedding day. We had the pleasure of sharing our special day with Frances. From our first meet with her we both found her to be very easy going, easy to work with and her manner and approach were very refreshing! She had an instrumental impact on the flow and smooth running of the ceremony and did a fantastic job of settling the nerves of my now husband when we had a couple technical issues 2 minutes before I walked down the aisle. There are really no words that give justice to just how professional, kind, open, caring, and amazing Frances is. 

Frances was the celebrant for our same sex marriage in October 2014 and was so very accepting of our relationship.  No judgement was ever passed and both my wife and I felt that we were being treated the same as, and given every opportunity that a “straight” couple would be offered.

That aside, Frances really was the glue that held our entire ceremony together.  Between my constant blubbering and my wife’s inappropriate comments… I have no idea how Frances managed to make everything feel so comfortable, natural, and flow with such ease.  From her fantastic suggestions in the get go, through to the final touches that my wife and I wanted incorporated into our ceremony, she nailed it all down to a T!

We were extremely impressed with how easy Frances made the preparation for our wedding day. She was open to our relaxed, non-religious outdoor ceremony and provided many unique ideas to make the ceremony personalised. I liked the beautiful poems that we chose from an extensive yet not overwhelming selection she sent through to us. She was also very supportive in helping us write our vows, and had attention to detail. A big thank you for the flawless ceremony, and a glowing recommendation from us!
