I was the celebrant at a wedding at Bella Vista and saw first hand how Jody worked with the couple and their families. She was very relaxed and calm yet worked hard to get the best shots during the ceremony - with a couple of fantastic original ideas. I have since seen some of the photos and they are stunning, really bringing out the personalities of the couple and their joy. Jody even took the time to talk to me about what I would be doing to ensure every special moment was captured.. Very discreetly she captured ALL the emotional moments.

Jody was our wedding photographer and we couldn’t have asked for more.  Jody was relaxed, fun and so easy to work with!!!  She was able to capture the perfect images from both parties getting ready to a mock cutting of the cake.  She was so professional on the day and for most of it we did not even know she was there.  Her creativity and passion for what she does shone through in the photos and we have had so many comments on how stunning the final products were - we can’t stop looking at them! We got married in January and are so happy we chose Jody as our photographer. We love our photos and really feel like they reflect the fun, happy and relaxed wedding day we had. It was nice meeting up with Jody before the big day and we felt comfortable explaining the type of day and photos we wanted. We have had comments from guests afterwards that Jody was great at rounding up the troops for the family/friends group shots;  in a friendly way - but also making sure they were done quickly as well which was one of our requests.

It was fabulous day, made even more special by our amazing photographer Jody Beattie! She was relaxed and efficient and loads of fun. I have been at 3 weddings Jody has photographed. One as mother of the bride, one as sister of the bride, and one as a friend of the brides family.
On every occasion, Jody has been friendly and approachable, willing to capture the unplanned moments that make the day memorable for all.
Family & friend shots are a pleasure to be a part of with Jody helping everyone to relax. Nothing is too much trouble for her and large group photos are completed with a minimum of fuss.
The finished results are superb and are a pleasure to look through, perfectly capturing the atmosphere of the day.

Jodie Beattie took all our wedding photos for my husband and I when we got married Feb 2009.
We had our wedding on our farm and she came up with some fantastic ideas for shots. Jody made us feel comfortable and at ease, even though some moments were private and ours to share she wasnt at all intrucive. We were and still are thrilled with our photos and love how they captured every special moment of our day.

My family felt at ease with Jody. Her friendly caring and personal involvement with the photo shoot was incredible. I would highly recommend her for any photography work and am doing so use of facebook, emails and word of mouth. For our wedding, she was awesum.
We had a prelim to the big day, showing her what we envisaged and would like and she came through on the day with her Proffesionalism, integrity, humour and her creative talents.
The day was perfect, with the weather, venue and with a photographer that wasn’t seen or heard.
Her dynamic style and her creativity to capture the perfect shots for us were just fabulous.
After the Wedding and things back to normal, Jody sent us some proofs to tantalise our taste buds and tantalise they did, put it simply, the were awesum.
And after 2-3 weeks they were ready to view and choose the ones we wanted, decisions were hard because of the quality but in the end and with the help of Jody we made our choices.
Through out the whole process Jody Beattie was just amazing with everything, nothing was a problem and she was so easy to deal with, like a part of the family, a true Profeesional in every way.
