About Beaufords in Totara Park
Beaufords is set in the picturesque grounds of Totara Park, just two minutes off the motorway at Manurewa. The property includes the original homestead and a large secluded private garden and marquee.
Marriage ceremony, photographs, reception and dance all at the same convenient premises.
In the summer months Beaufords is ideal for the Marriage Ceremony in the garden surrounded by gracious Totara trees, followed by drinks and hors d’oeuvres while photos are being taken in the grounds. For the reception, there is the choice of dining inside the garden marquee or in the main dining room of the homestead. Dancing under the stars outside by the marquee, or inside the homestead.
In the winter months Beaufords can offer a garden marriage ceremony either on the lawn or paved areas, or in the shelter of the marquee overlooking the garden. For the reception the dining and dancing take place inside the old homestead with the added bonus of a cosy log fire by the bar.
Beaufords, renowned for its superb buffets, has several menus, both with options. For the more informal wedding there is also the choice of a cocktail menu.
Beaufords is very experienced in weddings and functions. Being owner-operated, extra pride is taken to ensure your day is successful.

We recently had our wedding reception at Beaufords & it was wonderful! I think we scared John (the owner/operator) with all the decorating & theming we wanted to do but it went from a plain looking canvas to our perfect setting, being January the Hydrangeas in the gardens were beautiful, I hadn’t even realised when I chose hydrangeas for our bouquets & centrepieces that they grew all around the place at Beaufords. We had over 130 guests which required the marquee extension but even with that many tables there was still enough space to move around without it being to big & having to have a mic for the speechs. I thought the food was fine, while quite a few guests told me they thought it was great, guess I was to busy to really pay attention. John was really great & keeping my Dad (who was our MC) posted on timings throughout the night for him to be speaking etc. Overall it was the perfect venue for our garden party themed reception & we had so many compliments about the whole thing
