Christine was absolutely fantastic from the first time I spoke to her, she has such a warm and caring nature that just puts you at ease straight away.. She took absolute pride in making sure she knew us well and knew exactly what kind of wedding we wanted. Christine wrote a ceremony that was just perfect for us and was everything that we had imagined. Christine also has so much experience and knowledge she was amazing for giving us advice on various aspects of our ceremony and wedding day. On the day, Christine was exceptional. She put us both at ease and made standing in front of 113 people reading vows much less nerve raking by ensuring we were relaxed and comfortable. The ceremony was just great, she had our guests in tears and laughing with joy. Pretty much every guest of ours told us afterwards that it is the best ceremony they have ever been too and they will remember it for a very long time. I also loved how we didn’t have to do a rehearsal as it would have wasted everyone’s time, she just filled the boys in when they got there about what to do.

My husband took the role of selecting our celebrant and dealing with all the details as we were based in Palmerston North and he has family in Tauranga where we were married so it was his role to conduct things in Tauranga . 

I was 8 months pregnant so it was nice having the wedding prep taken care of from a distance with peace of mind.

In all my dealing over the telephone/email with Christine I found her to be so very helpful.  Her emails always covered everything we needed to know, she would chase us up when required for the information that was required, and helpful hints and tips for our special day.  I almost felt she took on the role of a wedding planner from a distance. 

Our wedding was attended by 17 family on the beach, we have a blended family and she made our 4 children feel so included in the ceremony to which i will be truly grateful as it was as much about them as it was about us getting married, and Christine provided a lovely intimate ceremony and assisted us greatly with the flow and ceremony that we truly wanted.  Unfortunately the weather was very unkind to us on the day but Christine was still very professional and made me feel so at ease and the ceremony went off without a hitch - even with umbrellas as a main feature. 

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christine to anyone in the future.

A very special occasion, our Golden Wedding Anniversary. After 50 years of marriage, we Renewed our Vows in The Elms Chapel, and Christine was the Celebrant we chose. What a great decision we made, Christine made our day so special, with abeautifully worded service,  and there were not many dry eyes, amongst our children and grandchildren.

Christine has many positive reviews and it is clear why. She was absolutely professional and friendly throughout, giving advice and support for the full engagement. She provided an enormous amount of preparation material to help us assemble the ceremony and - on the day before - provided coaching, last minute tips and detailed grooming of the ceremony.

She has clearly the experience to handle any situation that may come up (we were having a few technical issues before the ceremony) but nobody noticed - and Christine was a calming influence throughout.

Christine was amazing from the word go. I knew she would be a good celebrant because i rang her quite abit in advance and she was nearly all booked up! She was lovely on the phone and wanted to meet with us. We met up and we were sat talking with her for a good few hours. We got on very well with her and she was so personal and interested in everything about us. She truely does want to get to know the couples that she marries and tells their story.
When planning the ceremony she always replied promptly which made our lives very easier. We wanted to change things around and add a few things to the ceremony that we had come up with together with Christine and that was no trouble at all. She lets you make the ceremony exactly how you want it but also suggests good ways of doing things to you.
The rehearsal went well. We met at the venue and went through everything and i felt assured and at ease. I felt that i was in good hands with Christine.
The day went smoothly, even though i was incredibly nervous (mostly of tripping over my large dress)!!! Christine engaged with us and with all the guests and we couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant.
I would recommend Christine to any couple getting married if they want someone who is professional, helpful and makes your wedding ceremony amazing.

My husband & I met with lots of potential celebrants and we chose Christine because she was one of just a few who made the effort to really get to know us. Lots of celebrants seemed to treat the initial meet-ups in a very businesslike way; they would tell us their role and ours, explain cost & logistics, and then say goodbye. With Christine we never felt like clients - she had a very personable, friendly approach. She worked with us to create the perfect ceremony - she had a book of text for us to choose from, but she was also OK with us writing a lot of our own content. On the day itself, Christine set a relaxed tone. She stood quite far to the side, which was unconventional and allowed us as bride & groom to focus on each other rather than on a third party. She helped us to build the wedding ceremony we wanted, and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant.

The decision for Tony and I to have a surprise wedding with only our children and grandchildren present, was embraced immediately by Christine.  She joined in the fun and although only given three weeks to prepare (with Christmas in between!) was organised and efficient yet patient and caring when listening to our personal thoughts and ideas during the planning process.

I have had the pleasure to work with and watch Christine in full action several times at multiple weddings. She is a very friendly lady and very good at what she does. I believe passion is the key with weddings - you want someone who is not only experienced but enjoys what they do. Christine is exactly this person. Christine was great in the lead up to the wedding her folder had some great ideas and examples which we based our ceremony from. This was the wedding of my son.  This marriage was blending two families together.  Christine was gentle with the children as each did their part to participate in the ceremony.  Each was allowed to shine as they gave their consent to the marriage or produced the rings at the appropriate time.  The couple were guided through their vows in their own time and pace.  Although this was a simple wedding it held true meaning to the families blending together.  By the conclusion of the ceremony all the guests gave the impression of having enjoyed a wonderful wedding.

I attended a wedding in Nov 2013 where Christine Grant was the celebrant. I was most impressed with the professional yet personal (to the bride and groom) way she carried out her duties.
She was dressed in a most becoming black outfit so she could be easily identified. She conducted the whole ceremony with efficiency, seating the guests appropriately, then guiding the bride and groom confidently through the service   - she had spent preparation time with them so they felt confident in their roles.

I was a guest at a recent wedding where Christine was the celebrant. It is not often that I am motivated to acknowledge a job well done [possibly because that is what I expect!], but Christine was outstanding in the way she embraced and managed the occasion. She demonstrated a wonderful empathy for the bride and groom and made them feel comfortable by her supportive actions [words, smile and a reassuring touch] when they became overcome by a touch of the nerves. Somehow Christine was able to recognise the bride and groom as the most important people in the room, yet make all the guests feel welcome and very connected to the occasion. She also injected some humour into the service proceedings that provided a relaxed and happy atmosphere. After the official part of the ceremony, Christine went beyond her call of duty by making sure the bridal party was taken care of and all guests were being well looked after.

What a great day thanks to Christine. We wanted our wedding to be light hearted and fun, as it was second time around for both of us, Many people told us its one of the most relaxed fun weddings they had ever been to, Christine did everything we asked for and more , shame we cant do it again

As we were living overseas and trying to arrange the wedding in New Zealand Christine went out of her way to make our wedding day a great success in that she helped us in areas what I though was beyond her role as a Wedding Celebrant, she helped in regard to ensuring that the wedding venue arrangements were all okay, gave us recommendation on Florists and after the wedding assisted us in obtaining our marriage certificate in a very short time as we were returning overseas. We met Christine in December 2012 when we were in Tauranga for Christmas to discuss her officiating our wedding at Waihi Beach in April 2013.  Immediately, it felt as though we were chatting with an old friend over coffee.  With us living in Picton, a lot of our communication was via email.  Christine always replied promptly and answered our random questions with ease.

Thank you Christine for providing a happy memorable ceremony. We had a great day, everything was how we wanted it to be.

I would highly recommend Christine as a celebrant, she was so lovely and gave us all the information we needed for our ceremony and urged us to personalise it which ended up being so nice.. She helped us through it all with great suggestions all the way through the process.. The day was perfect and we had a lot of people comment on how great she was. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christine for everyone!

Christine is the perfect celebrant that puts the most nervous of brides and husbands-to-be at ease from the minute you meet her.  On our big day we had a thunderstorm approaching fast, which threatened to ruin our waterside ceremony, but Christine’s professional manner ensured the vows still went without a hitch before the first raindrop fell.  We found her a pleasure to deal with and would recommend her to anyone.

Christine was absolutely awesome. We met with her a few times before the wedding so on our day she actually felt like a guest. In choosing your celebrant is just as important as a bride to be you want your wedding as perfevt as can be, when meeting Christine she is so full of love and live, straight away i said to my husband to be yep i want to have christine as our Celebrant. I was not dissappointment Christine was fabulous she help us with her idea what would be best for our day.

Christine was a wonderful celebrant for our wedding.  She always stood to the side as to not get stuck in the wedding photos and she was just a delight to share our wedding with.  I would recommend Christine to anyone and everyone when getting married as her personality is so easy to get along with.  I cant rate Christine high enough!

10 years ago, Christine Grant was our celebrant.  She is an amazing woman, she gets intune with the bride and groom, and makes sure your day goes hitch free.  Even if the bride (like me) is fashionably late, isn’t too much of a drama (within reason & not too late).
13 months later, my sister-in-law also had Christine as her celebrant, and although I couldn’t make the wedding due to having just given birth to our first son 3 hrs earlier. I was told that the wedding was almost as good as ours!!
So thanks Christine, thanks so much for making our special day one of the most memorable days in our lives.

Christine was a perfect celebrant!  She guided us through the unknown territory of preparing the most important part of the day.  Her templates were incredibly helpful.  The day before the wedding she came to the venue for the rehearsal and helped ease our minds… She even suggested a better place for the location of our ceremony on the garden property.  Well, I have to admit, I was a bit worried at first with the last minute change, but on the day and looking back at photos, it was an EXPERT suggestion!!!  I couldn’t be more happy.  We still look through our vows every year.  Thanks Christine!

We first experienced the skills and care of Christine when she was the wedding celebrant for our dear friends in 2008. When it was our turn to get married, we met with Christine and knew she would be the best caretaker for our story.

We were married on Waiheke which proved no problem as Christine travelled to the island for the rehearsal and ceremony. It was all so easy and such a joy to work alongside her to create the perfect ceremony that truly reflected us.
